How safe settlement works

Payment and ownership swap together, only after the warehouse confirms the coffee.

When you buy a lot, your payment is held safely until the warehouse confirms it has received the coffee and checked its quality. At that moment, and only then, payment moves to the seller and ownership moves to you - in a single step.

Neither side can move ahead of the other. A trade cannot be settled early, and the reason is always shown in plain English if you try.
